Nissan Xterra & Frontier - Front Skid Plate

for

2000-2004 Nissan Xterra SUVs

and

2000-2004 Nissan Frontier Pickups.

These skid plates cover your front differential and provide easy access to your engine oil filter. They are made of 3/16" thick steel and are sold with no coating. They mount solidly to the truck's frame and are specially designed for easy bolt-up installation with minimal drilling. Nissan didn't provide enough mounting holes so you'll have to make a couple. Sorry!

These skids have been tested in Paragon Adventure Park here in PA, as well as in Moab, Tellico, and on other trails all over the country. These are the best skid plates you can buy for your Nissan. Another lesson learned during our off-road testing is that these skid plates help you get over obstacles by preventing your chassis cross-members from catching on whatever you're driving over. So you not only get added protection and peace of mind, your Nissan will be more capable as well!!

Please Note the following:

The front skid plate works just fine with stock front bumpers or ARB Bull Bars, but does not fit with Calmini front bumpers.
The front skid plate and the engine/trans skid plate are available separately. However, the front skid plate requires the engine/trans skid plate or it can't be installed.

NN-0002 Instructions

	This is our front skid plate ( Part# NN-0002) that replaces the factory sheetmetal piece. It is designed so that you can reach in from the side and remove your oil filter........Sorry, but this skid plate must be used in conjunction with the skid plate (Part# NN-0004).
	Shown is the front skid plate off of the vehicle. Drilling of two holes is required for installation.
